Annual Reports

Series consist of statements of receipt and disbursements of the Botwood Pastoral Charge for years 1988, 1995 and 1996. This includes reports from the various groups that function within the pastoral charge.

Baptism, Marriage and Burial Records

Series consist of Baptism, Marriage and Burial registers of the Botwood Pastoral Charge. The series includes: baptism register listing baptisms for 1889-1963, marriages, 1906-1958; and burials for 1890-1948. These registers reflect the many changes in the pastoral charges over the years in this area as the registers start out in Laurenceton and Burnt Bay, then Marshallville and then Botwoodville (Botwood).

Funds and Congregational Records

Series consist of records related to the financial matters of the parish. This includes the Statement of Income and Expenditures of the Trinity United Church at Botwood for period January 1, 1989 - December 31, 1989 and Statement of Ministerial Support for Botwood and Laurenceton for period 1909-1910.


Series consist of newspaper clippings from the Evening Telegram which detailed of the final meeting of the Women's Association of the United Church in order to dissolve the group in preparation for the formation of the new organization known as the United Church Women, 1962; clipping of Botwood News Briefs, 1964; clippings from The Daily News regarding the United Church Women election of officers, 1964; photocopy of newspaper article on the Botwood United Church from the Daily News, St. John's, 1964; also included, reproduced photo of Botwoodville Methodist Church taken from book.
