Fonds consist of records relating to the functional bodies of the Charge which include various boards, committees, organizations and groups. Included are minutes, reports, correspondence, membership and subscription records, publications, accounts and annual reports.

The majority of the records are in the form of scrapbooks, agendas and minutes, reports, financial statements, registers and annual reports.

Fonds consists of corporate records of the Marketing Administration Committee (MAC) from 1943-48. These include various subject files, correspondence, production records and records from the Combined Food Board, including recommendations for the purchase and allocations of yearly salt fish production, and quotas for production listed by country. The fonds also includes revenue and expense account sheets.

The fonds consists of a single minute book containing records the meetings relating to the planning, raising funds for and building of the new high school building for Trinity.

The material consists of textual records of the functions and activities of the Association, including a collection of papers, articles, speeches, periodicals, brochures and reports relating to the various topics dealt with by the Association in its conferences and seminars, or forums attended by its executive members. A small number of photographs of senior citizen housing in Prince Edward Island is in the file relating to housing [9.02]. The alphabetical list of files as processed in 1984 is preserved in Appendix 1, but some material in the cabinet had not been included in that process. The material has been rearranged according to form and function, with weeding of duplicates. Some published material has been retained within the fonds as it relates directly to themes or topics of conferences or projects. Other material has been listed in appendices, and periodical material has been removed to the library of the Newfoundland Historical Society.

The bulk of the records come from the activities of Dr. Stella Burry, president 1975-79 and active executive member, Joyce Nevitt, president 1980-1, 1984-85, active executive member, chair of the education committee, and newsletter editor, and from Norman Pinhorn, treasurer 1980-82. The working file of Joyce Nevitt as president, and a binder compiled by two successive secretaries, Rev. J.F. Ayris and Ada Spencer, 1977-78, have been retained as samples of how the association operated. Newfoundland and Labrador Association for the Aging

Fonds consists of the administrative and operational records of the association from 1965 to 1988/89, and some general files relating to issues of interest to the last president, Wayne Davis, up to 1995. The administrative records include the articles of association and incorporation, minutes of meetings, assessment of membership, and membership lists. The correspondence and general files contain the records of the general affairs and interests of the association, reports, and draft briefs. There are some financial records in the form of invoices and cheques. The financial statements for the association were included in the records of the annual general meetings. Some of the material includes explanatory notations made by Wayne Davis when he was reviewing the files prior to donating them to the Maritime History Archive.
