Fonds consists of records relating to the functional bodies of the Charge which include various boards, committees, organizations and groups. Included are vital statistics, minutes, annual reports, financial records and publications which include a history of Methodism in Fortune.

Fonds also contains materials Goldstein created and/or used in his teaching, research and public lectures. They include 83 audiocassette copies of Oral Traditions of Britain and Ireland, a series of commercial recordings issued by the Centre for Oral Traditions in England in 1975; 6 audiocassette copies of Grass Roots: An Oral History of the American People, a series of commercial recordings issued by the Visual Education Corporation of Princeton, New Jersey in 1976; 1 audiocassette recording of a lecture on her Newfoundland song-collecting experiences given by Elizabeth Bristol Greenleaf at the University of Rhode Island in 1969; 1 poster.

The collection consists of copy prints of older photographs of Sir Robert J. Pinsent and other family members. Subjects include the Pinsent property at Salmonier, Newfoundland; fishing on the Little River, Codroy; opening of the House of Assembly (1896); view of St. John's; and scenes of the Newfoundland railway.

Fonds consists of records related to Rev. Thomas J. Devereaux, including parish appointments and correspondence concerning road grants at St. Bride's with the Department of Public Works (1917). Fonds also includes newspaper clippings and printed material related to his life.

Fonds consists of microfilmed account books (1859-1902, 1861-62); a logbook of the brig Aeolus; a book containing newspaper clippings; and loose documents, including indentures, bills of sale and petitions (1835-1908).

Fonds consists of company accounts for the New England firm of Thomas Ruck & Company relating to the fish trade in Newfoundland, 1713-1722. Fonds is composed of five ledgers, a journal and a day book containing accounts for the seasonal trade (usually May-Sept) conducted by Ruck in Bay Bulls, Petty Harbour, Quidi Vidi, Torbay, St. John's, Ferryland, Witless Bay, Cape Broyle, Brigus Bay South and Conception Bay, Newfoundland.

This fonds contains the records of Murray Agencies & Transport Co., Ltd., a subsidiary company of A.H. Murray and Company, which was formed to build and charter vessels on commission and to transport freight to and from St. John's. It contains correspondence with local, Canadian and foreign suppliers, financial records, labour records and an extensive collection of shipping manifests and disbursement accounts.

The records are arranged in four series: Correspondence 1924-1966; Financial records, 1924-1965; Labour records, 1948-1966; and Shipping records, 1923-1964. The majority of the records are for the 1950s to 1966.

Fonds consists of Laws' working files, the majority of which came from Laws' office as manager of NAFEL. Other material relates to the various government agencies and committees with which he was associated. The bulk of the material covers the years from 1936 to 1981, when Laws was a central figure in Newfoundland's fishing industry.

Fonds consists of correspondence arranged by name of parish priest (1951-1977); financial statements (1915-1928); transcribed notes relating to parish history [1977?]; canonical decrees delineating parish boundaries and effecting a corporate name change (1982, 1985); 200th Anniversary Committee records relating to papal visit (1984); 3 architectural drawings of St. Michael's Church (1970); and 17 photographs of Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, St. Michael's Church, and the town of Flatrock [19--].
