Tells of a story from when he as around eleven about a boy that was attacked and mauled by a dog and that Tommy's mother went and threw rocks at the dog until the dog left the child alone. Then the kid was taken to the house and washed up and bandaged and care was given to him until he healed. Talking over about fishing, schooners and whale boats.
