Also contained in the series are the records of the The Blackhead Historic Site Committee, 1982-1984. The committee was appointed by conference in 1982 to research the history of the erection of the first Methodist Church in Canada and have a suitable marker provided and dedicated. Bern Gill was appointed chairman of the committee. The 15 cm of textual records include correspondence, minutes, research material, financial records, invitations, dedication booklet and other records relating to the project.
