Fonds consists of administrative records of the Labrador Heritage society including memorandum of Association, correspondence, financial records, letterhead, rules and regulations, and minutes. Fonds also includes written histories of the society, newspaper articles, booklets, brochures, and other published material.

Fonds consists of the administrative and operational records of the association from 1965 to 1988/89, and some general files relating to issues of interest to the last president, Wayne Davis, up to 1995. The administrative records include the articles of association and incorporation, minutes of meetings, assessment of membership, and membership lists. The correspondence and general files contain the records of the general affairs and interests of the association, reports, and draft briefs. There are some financial records in the form of invoices and cheques. The financial statements for the association were included in the records of the annual general meetings. Some of the material includes explanatory notations made by Wayne Davis when he was reviewing the files prior to donating them to the Maritime History Archive.

The fonds also contains copies of minutes of related associations: the Newfoundland and Labrador Marine Advisory Committee and the Newfoundland Sealers' Association.

The fonds consists of records which document the work and activities of Cochrane Street United Church congregation, its boards and committees and its organizations, with the records starting in 1882.

The records consist of the administrative records of the congregation which include the Quarterly Official Board, the Boards of Session and Stewards, their committees, both standing and ad hoc, and the Board of Management starting in 1987, and its committees. The fonds also includes financial records, comprising of financial statements and reports as well as some audited reports. Also included are vital statistic records dating from the independence of the congregation in 1890 and membership records dating from 1916. Annual reports, many of which were published, are included. Women's and men's groups, youth groups, and Sunday School records are also a part of this fonds.
