Fonds consists of the personal and professional records created by Francis O’Dea during his work in the medical profession and his involvement with a variety of individuals and organizations in Newfoundland. Macpherson, Dr. ClunyThe Dr. H. Bliss Murphy fonds contains 159 glass slides, which are arranged by subject in six series. The slides consist of individuals, families, landscapes, buildings, religious ceremonies and work in India, various microscopic images, anatomical diagrams taken from the Anatomy Department, London Hospital Medical Collection, physicians, including famous physicians such as Pasteur, Fleming, and Koch, diagrams of medical experiments, procedures, and microscopic images, as well as unrelated subjects such as biblical images, a human skull, a mummified corpse and a poem.
