Fonds consists of corporate records of the Marketing Administration Committee (MAC) from 1943-48. These include various subject files, correspondence, production records and records from the Combined Food Board, including recommendations for the purchase and allocations of yearly salt fish production, and quotas for production listed by country. The fonds also includes revenue and expense account sheets.

Fonds is arranged in three series: 1. Subject files, 1943-48; 2. Correspondence, 1945-47; 3. Production records, 1943-47.

Marjorie Stoker fonds

Fonds consists of folklore and oral history materials deposited by Marjorie Stoker and is arranged into two series. Series 1 (67-024) consists of 3 audio reels documenting a kitchen party at Calvert on 5 May 1967; Series 2 (74-230 and 89-067) consist of 50 audio reels containing interviews conducted by Stoker with residents of Conne River, Conne Village, Harry's Brook, St. Alban's, St. John's, mainly pertaining to Mi'kmaq culture and folklore. Included in this fonds are 144 photonegatives (b&w) of the pages of a prayer book in the Mi'kmaq language, borrowed by Stoker and photographed by her son Richard. There is an extensive Marjorie Stoker fonds in the CNS archives at Memorial University.

The Maritime History Archive collection of student papers contains 5429 essays relevant to the history and culture of Newfoundland and Labrador, collected by professors in the departments of Anthropology, Geography, and History. Most of the papers contain original research on Newfoundland communities and regions, but other categories of research include biographies and family histories, settlement patterns, economic development, education, health, law and justice, merchants, the military, politics and government, religion, shipping, fisheries and the fishing industry, and Labrador society and culture. Research papers may include photographs, oral histories, and diagrams.

Fonds consists of 27 bound scrapbooks. The scrapbooks contain material ranging in date from 1965 to 1987. Material in the scrapbooks consists mainly of newspaper clippings mostly from Western Newfoundland newspapers, magazine clippings, and various types of printed material such as pamphlets.
The scrapbooks contained a variety of loose material in addition to the material glued in. In total there are 68 loose items of printed material, including the same types of material found in the scrapbooks, 4 ephemeral items, and 5 photographs.
Series 1: Scrapbooks
Series 2: Miscellaneous: All miscellaneous material was found as loose material inside the scrapbooks, and therefore is arranged first by category, and then by the scrapbook in which it was found.
