Pinsent, Sir Robert JohnFonds consists of microfilmed papers of three registers of incoming vessels at Halifax, 1880-1905. The records were kept by Pickford and Black, but include all incoming shipping, regardless of agent. The registers provide the date of arrival, the rig, vessel name, tonnage, port of registry, master, origins, number of days at sea, consignee, cargo, wharf, date of sailing and destination.
Pickford & Black (firm)Collection consists of microfilm copies of three account books, 1664-1708, 1678-1690, and 1699-1718, which describe English's dealings with fishermen and maritime artisans, the financial arrangements of fishing voyages, and the expenses of keeping his vessels afloat.
English, PhilipFonds consists of photocopies made in 1984 of order books from Bradley's furniture-making business that he operated on Victoria Street, St. John's. The books list each customer by name and give an account of work carried out and a detailed breakdown of costs. The order books are arranged in chronological order.
Bradley, Noah NormanFonds consists of the administrative and operational records of the association from 1965 to 1988/89, and some general files relating to issues of interest to the last president, Wayne Davis, up to 1995. The administrative records include the articles of association and incorporation, minutes of meetings, assessment of membership, and membership lists. The correspondence and general files contain the records of the general affairs and interests of the association, reports, and draft briefs. There are some financial records in the form of invoices and cheques. The financial statements for the association were included in the records of the annual general meetings. Some of the material includes explanatory notations made by Wayne Davis when he was reviewing the files prior to donating them to the Maritime History Archive.

Murray and Company, which was formed to build and charter vessels on commission and to transport freight to and from St. John's. It contains correspondence with local, Canadian and foreign suppliers, financial records, labour records and an extensive collection of shipping manifests and disbursement accounts.
