Fonds consist of records pertaining to the Fogo Island Pastoral Charge which includes communities of Joe Batt's Arm, Seldom-Come-By and Stag Harbour. These records relate to the activities of the Charge and its functional bodies. The majority of the records are in the form of minutes, financial records and vital statistics.

Fonds are arranged in the following series: Baptism, Marriage and Burial Records, 1860-1967; Membership Records, 1846-1949; Board and Committee Records, 1935-1972; Funds and Congregational Financial Records, 1846-1969.

The fonds consists of a single scrapbook entitled "Historical photographs and Manuscripts of Trinity, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland by Rev. Edmund Hunt, 1888-1973". The scrapbook contains photographs and historical information about Trinity and the Rev. Edmund Hunt, compiled by Reverend Hunt's daughter, Florence Murrin. The book contains a number of early photographs of Trinity as well as photographs taken by Rev. Hunt that were made into a postcard series for Trinity. The majority of the photographs were taken by Rev. Hunt. The text was compiled by Murrin, borrowing extensively from a book on Trinity authored by her father.

Collection consists of correspondence to William Baikie from Thomas Baikie, August 20, 1908; correspondence to Doris Saunders from Flora Baikie, Nov. 3, 1977; handwritten notes by Flora Baikie detailing deaths, monetary matters and occurrences; a Christmas card from Mr. And Mrs. Freeman Baikie; correspondence to Flora Baikie from May Bird (1943); copy of Hudson’s Bay company ledger sheet for the account of Freeman Baikie (1942); a License to Operate a Receiving Equipment issued to Mr. Freeman Baikie (1943); a receipt from The International Grenfell Association for the sum of $3.70 paid for hospital fees (1941); 3 credit receipts from the Hudson’s Bay Company (1946); correspondence to Freeman Baikie from S/SGT J. Payette; 3 letters of correspondence to Flora Baikie from Ella Campbell (1943), a certificate of registration for the Defense (National Registration) Regulations (1942); correspondence to Flora Baikie from ? Budgell (1946); and correspondence to Flora Baikie from D. Blake (1955).

The fonds consists of four account books from the Fishermen's Union store at Greenspond. It includes a daybook containing accounts with the Fishermen's Union Trading Co. Ltd. (1914); men's accounts (1916); and general ledgers (1918 and 1921). The accounts list individuals from Greenspond and nearby communities who traded at the "Union Store".

LeDrew (1980); various articles taken from " The Fisheries Development Company Newfoundland Ltd" report (1948); a copy of a breif survey entitled 'The Fisheries of Northern Labrador'; a copy of an appraisal of the Labrador Fishing Industry entitled: Labrador Fishery Vol .1'; statistical appendices to Vol 1 and Vol. 2 of the Department of Fisheries of Canada MArkets and Economics Service Reports (1951); 'Salmon Investigation Preliminary Survey of the Rivers and Commercial Fishery of Southern Labrador,' written by Cheeseman, Sollows, Dalzeil, Huxter and Smith (1952-1953); various photocopied letters pertaining to the fisheries in Labrador; and a report on Northern Labrador and Fishery (1876)

The fonds consists of a logbook of the company with an introduction by the Chaplain, Rev. R.S. Sheppard and a record book, 1953-1968. The logbook begins March 26, 1943 and contains a detailed account of the activities of the company. On p.2 there are 8 photographs of a camp held in 1944. The final meeting recorded in the logbook was held in February, 1966. The record book contains the names of the Guides enrolled and an account of their badges etc. Instructions and advice for guides, written by Commissioner Mrs. Sullivan, is included at the back of the book.

As the Faculty of Medicine begins a new academic year of instruction, it is compulsory that photographs be taken of each class of students. The First year medical students, Second Years, Third Years, Fourth Years, and Interns and Residents have their photographs taken. The effort is organized by the Office of Student Affairs and the pictures are disseminated for the benefit of the Faculty, staff and administration of the Medical School. It not only allows for the identification of students according to their current year of study in the Medical Sciences but also provides a record of past graduating classes and numbers of physicians who have enrolled in and graduated from the Medical School at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Fonds contains photographs of Medical students from years 1973-1999 and a small number of photographs of Nursing Students covering the years 1981-1982. Fonds is composed of the following series, each corresponding with the date of the class of students:

Fonds consists of material (mostly newspaper articles) relating to the planning, construction, staffing, and administration of the Medical School at Memorial University and the Health Sciences Centre in which it operates. There are photographs of the first staff members and the first medical students to work at the School. Fonds is composed of the following series:
