Collection consists of a letter from James Hutton to the Earl of Dartmouth regarding Mikak, an Inuit woman who was taken to England and then returned to Labrador (1773); the article entitled: 'Men and Books: Some Eskimo Remedies and Experiences of an Amateur Doctor Among the Labrador Eskimo' by Rev Peacock (1947); the article 'An Old Water System: Nain, Labrador' by F.W. Peacock (1982); the article: 'German Weather Station in Labrador North, !943- 1944' by Rev. Peacock; a list of ships servicing Labrador owned by the moravian society; a one page background on the name Makkovik; an excerpt from the document detailing the attempt by the Harmony to weather a storm in trying to reach Labrador from England; the article 'pep' regarding Everett Pepperrell Wheeler, a traveler to Labrador; the first three pages of the article 'Missionaries and Medicines in Northern Labrador' ; the article 'History of the Moravian Church from 1860' an untitled article giving some of the history of the Moravian Mission in Labrador; and the article: ' Notes on Labrador Indians'
