Geschiedenis
The Girl Guides formed their first company in Newfoundland in 1923. Interest in the organization has grown so that there are now approximately 8,000 Girl Guides and leaders in Newfoundland and Labrador. By 1971 Isabel Templeton had already begun to organize the materials which had been accumulated over the years. In 1977 the Provincial Council established residence in Pleasantville. In 1992 the Archives became affiliated with the Association of Girl Guides Archives across Canada.
