The Labrador Community and Cultural Association was a non profit organization aware of the need to provide training and opportunities for the citizens of Labrador. They to organized a program that would provide, encourage and assist in vocational development of basic trades, arts, crafts, music, drama, physical culture and all other educational, recreational and cultural activities in Labrador.

Collection consists of a notebook containing minutes of the Association from Nov. 21, 1961 to March 1, 1967; minutes from general meetings held on Oct. 9, 1962, May 15, 1963, May 10, 1967, Dec. 28, 1967; facts about the Labrador Community and Cultural Association; a telegram to Sir Leonard Outerbridge from LCCA; correspondence to Town Council of Happy Valley from LCCA, (1972); correspondence to Rev. S. Payne from LCCA (1972); correspondence to Regional Library Board Goose Airport (1972); correspondence to Girl Guides of Happy Valley (1972); a financial statement of the LCCA; an open letter to THE NORTHERN REPORTER; and a copy of the Proposed Plan of Operation of the Labrador Community and Cultural Association.
