Biografie
Nigel Markham was born in England and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. He came to Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador, in 1975 to work with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as a cameraman, and during that time, also volunteered as photographic editor for THEM DAYS Magazine. His directorial credits include The Last Days of Okak, which was an account of the devastating effects of the 1918 influenza epidemic on the Labrador Inuit, which won the Best Documentary award at the 1986 Atlantic Film Festival.
