History
In the year 2000, Prince of Wales Collegiate celebrated the fortieth anniversary of the building on Paton Street. The school was originally called United Collegiate but the name was changed in 1964. As part of the celebrations, an archives was established and a room was set aside in the school for this purpose.

This would include all aspects of the United Church run schooling systems leading up to 1960 - the opening of the present building known as Prince of Wales Collegiate.”
